App Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

We only collect the very basic information such as your name, email, and phone number so that you can create an account for the app to be able to track certain events, can save QR codes for a quick check-in access at events, keep a record of results, and many other features.
If location features are used such as participant event tracking, what3words, or any other location based feature, we will gather location data to make these features work.


What do we use your information for?

The information that we collect is only used for the purposes of app functionality and we do not share your personal information with anyone else. This also includes not selling, trading, or otherwise transferring your data to unknown outside parties. The only data shared with event organisers is the information you provide in the event profile section when you follow an event. This includes location data to make features such as event tracking work.


Do we distribute date to third parties?

We do not distribute data to anyone, and all data is used to ensure the app is functional. The only data that is available to event organisers is the event profile that you create within a listed event, not the user account. Location based data for the event tracking feature is shared to organisers during the event.


Can I request my data be deleted?

You certainly can. If you no longer want your data as part of the app, we can delete your account for you from the server and all information that you have provided and that is linked to it. Please email support@eventcheck.io to request this. You can also delete your account and the data related to it via the menu in the app.


Consent

By using the Eventcheck IO App, you agree and consent to our privacy policy and anything related to it. You also understand that this can be altered by the app owner at any time to ensure we are up to date. You understand that any information on the app is published by an event organiser and not by EventCheck. You understand that EventCheck is not liable for anything an event might publish within the app though tries to monitor it as best as possible.  

You understand by creating an account you will use the app for its intended usage and nothing more.

Account Deletion

Step 1: Go onto the Eventcheck app and navigate to 'Menu' in the bottom right. Make sure you are first logged in.

Step 2: Click on 'Edit account info' and a pop up should appear.

Step 3: Click 'Delete Account' and then click 'Confirm'. This will delete your user account and associated ID's that are linked.
